Mike Dzierzecki is an Associate Principal in the Renewable Resources group at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). In this role, he supports the active management of existing investments and underwriting across the timberland and agriculture sectors, including sourcing and due diligence of new opportunities. Mike also represents AIMCo’s clients through governance and oversight roles, including participation on direct investment boards and Limited Partner Advisory Committees.
He joined AIMCo in 2023 after working in a similar role at another Canadian pension plan and prior to that, began his career as an investment banker in the oil and gas field. Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta.
