Jim was appointed the CEO and Managing Director of Warakirri Asset Management in 2017.
In this role he oversees all aspects of the business, including overall responsibility for Agriculture Investments, partnerships and operations. During Jim’s tenure Warakirri has grown to be one of the Top 10 Agriculture Managers in the world. Jim’s experience includes being a Director of Aurora Dairies - Australasia’s largest Dairy farming business, a Director of Warakirri Cropping - one of Australia’s largest Cropping businesses, and Solterra – a large scale broadacre Cropping business. He has more than 30 years of experience.
Jim received a Masters of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne, he has a Graduate Diploma in Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Tasmania.
Outside of work, Jim is a member of the Advisory and Investment Committee for a Charitable Institution.
