Andy Cook is an Investment Analyst working on a team of 4 staff members supporting the Vermont Pension Investment Commission (VPIC) based in Montpelier, VT. The VPIC oversees approximately .5B of pension assets for Vermont’s retired state employees, teachers, and municipal employees. Andy focuses his efforts on VPIC’s public & private equity and farmland portfolios, both monitoring existing investments and evaluating new investment opportunities.
Before joining the VPIC Andy spent 8 years managing a small retail insurance and financial services office. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Government. Andy lives in Waitsfield, VT with his wife and two young daughters. In his free time he enjoys skiing, cycling, fishing, and teaching adaptive ski lessons for individuals with disabilities.
