David is a seasoned agriculture investor with a deep understanding of the industry, gained over almost 20 years of experience in multiple roles. Having successfully launched one of the first sector-specific funds, he originated, oversaw and managed investments in Europe, Australia, Africa and South America, successfully returning capital to investors in 2015-2016. He has since served as an advisor to sector corporates, including ag-tech and ag-chem companies, as well as institutional and sovereign wealth fund investors. David is currently Sales & Growth Lead for Phlo Systems Ltd, a growth-stage SaaS company based in London which has developed an integrated ERP and Commodity Trading Risk Management platform that has a growing customer base across the commodity complex. He is also a non-executive director of AAG Investment Management Pty Ltd (AAG), a specialist agriculture asset management firm based in Melbourne. David holds a BA and MA (Hons) in Jurisprudence from Oxford University and completed the Executive Program at Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.
