Dirk Aleven is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FoodVentures BV, which develops high-tech greenhouses with projects currently built and operated with Dutch management in Scandinavia, Asia, CIS and USA. In his role as CEO, Dirk is involved in maintaining the investor relations, business development and overseeing the operations of the operating companies. After being assigned to lead a restructuring process in April 2024, Dirk also acts as President of Revol Greens, one of the top three indoor lettuce operators in the United States. Since 2017, Dirk has also served as General Director of Green Capital LLC in Kazakhstan. He is a long-serving member of the Investment Committee for I-Fund, which invests into companies that contribute to a transition to more sustainable food, energy, and water use.
